Emergency help
Quick access to Bangladesh’s national emergency number 999, primary family calling and a location-based emergency SMS flow.
A short introduction to the idea behind Amar Sathi: making everyday digital support simpler for parents and elders, while keeping family contact, medicine tracking and emergency access easy to find.
For accessibility and comfort, the video does not autoplay. Press play when you are ready.
The design follows accessibility principles that are especially useful for older adults: large readable text, high contrast, generous spacing and large touch targets.

Add medicine name, time and dose, then mark it as taken for the day. The web beta can notify while the app is active.
Save a primary family contact and doctor number so essential calling actions are easy to find.
Save a simple check-in and optionally open an SMS to reassure a family member.
Keep useful personal details such as blood group, allergy notes and doctor information on the device.
In this beta, saved contacts, medicine entries and health notes stay in the browser on the user’s device.
“তারা আমাদের হাত ধরে হাঁটতে শিখিয়েছেন। এখন আমাদের পালা—প্রয়োজনে যেন তারা একা না থাকেন।”
The idea behind Amar SathiMany digital products assume small text, fast taps and complex navigation. Amar Sathi takes the opposite approach: fewer choices on each screen, larger controls, familiar language and direct access to the people and actions that matter most.
This is a personal initiative developed by Jahangir Alam Talukder to explore how everyday technology can make family support easier for parents and elders.
Read our storyNo hidden workflow. The most important actions are visible as large cards and buttons.
The concept artwork below explains the idea visually: quick help, family connection, health and medicine support, and a simpler interface for older users.

Current release: Web/PWA Beta. Store badges shown in the concept artwork are for the planned future Android/iOS release and are not active download links yet.
